Our 'SIBOL' Group is so successful in raising money for Charities namely Mencap, Prince William & Kate Middletons Charity Gift Fund, Alzheimers and Breast Cancer Care. We have now raised £1,759.00 from the Sale of our special Charity Blankets.
Ladies from all over the World send me 6" Squares which are then made in to the most beautiful Blankets and then sold on EBAY to raise money for chosen charities. We certainly have some talented Ladies throughout the world and I would like to thank you all for your support.
One Blanket which was sold recently was our 'Think Pink (2). Think Pink 2 was made by Joanna and I am very pleased to be telling you that the Blanket was sold for £200.00. This money was donated to Breast Cancer Care here in the UK. The Blanket has now found a home in Italy.
Our 'Think Pink' (3) will be arriving here in the UK very soon from Fiona in the Netherlands. This Blanket will be sold by 'private auction' this time through the SIBOL Blog. I am hoping this will save me un-necessary EBAY fees etc., I will let you know when it has arrived.
We are in the process of putting together 'Think Pink (4). theemuts in Belgium has very kindly offered to make this one up for us. I am hoping that our special Pink Blankets will become a regular feature within our SIBOL Group.
I have had some beautiful 'Think Pink' Squares arrive today from 'jean nock' here in the UK. They really are gorgeous. I hope you can spot the pink ribbon and Butterfly too! Thanks very much 'jean nock'. Let's take a look at your Squares now.
