Before starting on my blue and white squares I thought That I would have a look to see what inspiration I could find…..
It turns out I like blue. I don’t think I noticed how much I had in the house until I decided to photograph it. In the 80’s I went colour mad, terracotta was very popular then. Now its all neutral with accents. What colours predominate in your homes?
OOh thanks so much for posting Louise! I'm so glad you are taking part in 'team blogging'. I fully agree with you. My Kitchen is in 'Blue and White'. Blue and white tablecloth. Blue and white crocheted doileys on my window sill and on my corner kitchen cupboard which house my piggies. Yes I'm Blue and White in the Kitchen. Lounge - well if you visit my Flickr stream you'll see plenty of my Lounge. going for the peach/terracotta colours. I have my home in a slide show on Mrs Twins. Yes the colours have certainly gone very neutral now but at the end of the day I think you have to stick with what you like.
ReplyDeleteThese Blue and White Squares are gorgeous. I am finishing the sun blankets this week. I maybe quiet in Blogland. I'm allowing myself a week to finish '3' sun themed Blankets off before I start the flower ones. Which I am so looking forward to with all these gorgeous blue and white squares.
