Knitted and Crocheted blankets are made for our Elderly folk.

Hi everyone!

I'm very happy to be showing you three Knitted blankets which joyce28 has very kindly assembled for me. These squares arrived at my home and I haven't got a clue who they are from so we are going to say they are 'anonymous'. So thank you very much.

Well they are not actually squares, they are rectangles and they have been Knitted beautifully and they are in really bright colours. joyce28 has made a great job of assembling them for me and I love the borders on all three. joyce28 has added some Crocheted rectangles on the one blanket.

These three blankets seem so much warmer now they are assembled up. I'm sure they will give a lot of comfort to an Elderly person.

'jean nock' has very kindly assembled a Crocheted blanket up for me. The squares are so pretty and I would like to thank everyone who sent in squares for this one. We certainly are making some great one off blankets for our Elderly folk. Aren't they all different? No two are exactly the same! I'm sure you've noticed. Thanks very much 'jean nock' for your help once again.

It's called 'Crochet Saved my Life' and it's written by one of our fellow Bloggers 'Kathryn Vercillo of 'Crochet Concupiscence'  over in the States.         I'm very happy because 'SIBOL' has been mentioned on Page 286 in the 'Crocheting for Charity' section of the book. This is really, really good! Thanks so much Kathryn! We've never been in a book before!   So tonight I shall 'retire early' and take up a cup of hot chocolate up to bed and have a good read!
