I'm very pleased you are popping in to SIBOL this afternoon. I have such wonderful Squares to show you.
I would like to thank three 'SIBOLETTES' today they are....... Ruby (moleymakes) (UK), Tinka (ATheeC) and Annelinde her Daughter from Belgium.
The Squares are all lovely and I would like to show them to you now.
First of all let's start with moleymakes. I'm very pleased 'Ruby' has contributed towards the Jan Eaton blanket. The Square which she chose to make was 'Edged Square' which is number 62 in the 200 Block book from Jan Eaton. I'm sure you will agree it's a lovely Square. We are making our third Jan Eaton 'Sunshine Blanket' slowly working through the book by Jan Eaton.
Here's 'Edged Square'.
Now let's have a look at the other Squares moleymakes has sent today! She has sent in some pretty Granny Squares. Thank you so much. They are all lovely.
I'm also very happy to be telling you I had a large box arrive this morning. The box was from ATheeC (Tinka) and her Daughter 'Annelinde'.
Tinka was telling me in an email yesterday how SIBOL has given her such a lot of enjoyment. It was around a year ago she found SIBOL over on Flickr. She admired the beautiful Squares that were coming in and indeed the 'Sunshine Blankets'. She thought at the time that she would like to take part in our Group. A year later she has sent in 182 Squares to SIBOL. At home she has made her own Blankets and Pot Holders and has even taught her Daughters to Crochet! She says that without our Group she wouldn't have had all these fun hours Crocheting!
Thank you Tinka, and I am so pleased you have taught your Daughters to Crochet. It's so nice to see this Craft being passed on!
Now I'm sure you will want to see their Squares! I'm very pleased to be showing you the Squares because Tinka has been working so....hard for our Challenges. You will see what I mean. The Squares are amazing and there are such a lot. Now lets' have a look at what was in this box.!.......
