I'm taking a little peep at some beautiful Fruit Squares that have been made already for No. 1. Fruit and Vegetable Challenge. I am sorry I have been rather sluggish so far this year but I have had this dreadful cold/cough virus that is doing the rounds. I am starting to feel more myself now but I would like to thank everyone for 'bearing with me'. Thank you so much for your 'Get Well' wishes over on Ravelry and email.
Well it wasn't long before Tinka in Belgium started working that hook of hers. She was saying that's what she likes about our SIBOL Challenges, they give her chance to try something she wouldn't normally do. I haven't received these Squares yet I have only seen them on RAVELRY but I want to try and show you the sort of thing I'm after for our Challenge.
First of all we have a Lemon.....
Cherries......
A beautiful Green Pear!......
Beautiful designs Tinka they are perfect!
Please don't feel frightened about having a go with our Challenges. Using basic Crocheting Stitches you can conjour up the most amazing Squares. Nikster over on RAVELRY has also Crocheted a Square take a look at this one now.
Just make a shape and sew it on.....that's what our Challenge Squares are all about.
The Elderly love our SIBOL Picture Squares, they are real talking points for them. Why not have a go!
The Apple Slice has now been transformed in to a beautiful Picture Square! Thank you Nikster, another perfect attempt.
I also had some juicy Squares arrive earlier on in the week from bonsall which are so....realistic!
I'm really pleased you like the sound of my Challenges. If you want to have a go please remember your Squares must be roughly 6" (15cms) and they must be labelled with your Name and Challenge details. Oh please don't forget to leave your email address so that I can tell you that they have arrived.
Bye for now.
