Thank you for visiting the 'SIBOL' Blog.
I had a bumper delivery of Blankets today. Four Blankets in total would you believe. All so....beautiful!
Three from Kathy and one from Anita. I am so grateful to both of you, I know it's terribly difficult to crochet in this weather, it is so uncomfortable.
Let's take a look at Anita's Blanket. This Blanket is a perfect size and it is absolutely full of colour! I love the bright green border and I was lucky enough to find a bright green rose and ribbon in my stash. I thought the Butterfly too was ideal. It's so nice to be able to just pick a Butterfly out of my Stash to compliment our Blankets. Have you ever had a go at making the Butterflies? They are so addictive and I always welcome new ones flying in to 'Two Times'. If you want to have a go at making them please pop over to my friend Nettie in Australia. Her Blog is here and there's a great video tutorial.
Anita has made a superb Blanket out of Granny Squares using those odd bits of yarn that we all have lying around. It's really so bright and cheerful just what the Residents in the Homes like. I'm sure you are longing to see. Here it is....
The border is perfect too. Thank you so much Anita I know this has taken many hours to make.
