Well what a surprise today! A parcel arrived this morning all the way from the Netherlands our dear fiend Fien. Inside were two beautiful Sunshine Blankets for the Elderly and a very pretty Shawl too.
I had no idea Fien was making them so it was a complete surprise!
The first one is called 'Broken Lines a pattern called ' Mile a Minute' which can be found on You Tube and the second is a Blanket made with Squares called 'Dutch Meadows'. Fien has labelled each Blanket with her name and where she lives and has chosen the names herself too. Both made in lovely colour combinations as well.
These two Sunshine Blankets are gorgeous and I know the Residents will love them. Thank you so much Fien it really is very kind of you.
Here's 'Broken Lines'.
Now 'Dutch Meadows'.
Very pretty Fien!
Your Shawl is ideal for a Lady I love it thank you!
Many thanks Fien.
