We have been working so hard all year round Crocheting and Knitting for 'SIBOL' and I'm pleased to say that we have another 57 Blankets ready for the Homes.
I am keeping the Challenge Blankets back until next year because I have a Craft Group to visit, I thought it would be nice to take some to show them when I go. We have plenty to give out this year and today I visited St. Michaels Home in Olton.
This photo was taken November15th last year, what a nice day that was! Today I visited them and it was raining heavily.
I spent part of the morning sorting the Blankets out. Julie - The Manager of the Home told me that they have 8 Men and 13 Women, so I sorted out the darker ones for the Men.
It was very nice to meet Julie - The Manager again. We actually delivered some Blankets there this time last year. I'm so glad our Blankets will be useful again for their Residents. St. Michaels is such a friendly and welcoming Home and it was a pleasure to visit again.
I explained to Julie how you all enjoy Crocheting and Knitting for 'SIBOL' and she thanked us all very much for the beautiful Blankets. She is going to give them out on Christmas Day so I shall certainly be thinking about the Residents opening them up.
I would like to thank you all too for supporting 'SIBOL'. The Squares and indeed Blankets are very much appreciated for the 'SIBOL' project.
