Our SIBOLS! / Ideas for new Challenges please!

I'm just reminding you of the Sunshine Blankets that we have already made.

We are in November now, and we are thinking about new Challenges for 2011. Although I am not going to announce them until later on. I would welcome your ideas!

So please follow this link. Let's start a thread.....Can you tell me what Challenges you would like? Use your imagination again Ladies, I know you won't let me down....... Pop over to our SIBOL group on Flickr and follow my topic.......

I want the link to be the place where we will keep a record of our ideas. I know some of you have already told me, but could you pop over and post them again please. Thank you.

Hi, I'm Sue
56, Married with twin Daughters.
I live in the UK.

I'm making 'Sunshine International Blankets of Love' For the Elderly'.
(see 28th Feb post) In Memory of my Grandmother, with the help of my on-line friends.
Would you like to help me?

I'm asking for 6" x 6" (15cms x 15cms) Knitted or Crocheted Squares.
Any Design, Any Colour, Straight Edge please.
Acrylic if possible (or whatever you have in your stash!)
No deadline, no panic,no rush.

All 'Sunshine Blankets' will be donated to Nursing Homes in the UK.

Whilst rummaging in the scrap cupboard, I heard a plaintive cry " She never looks in our little bag, Can you tell me why? " A voice replied, "We're old and tatty, A little bit worn out, Our colours dull, our fibres matted, Now don't give me that pout!" "But I want to be a 'Sibolette', I really, really do! To be part of a Sibol, Made by the lovely Sue. It's my destiny, my dream, my fate!" The voice was getting higher, "I may be old but it's never too late, I'm not ready to retire". "Oh gosh", I thought, That sounds like me, Slightly worn, with a dodgy knee. So I'm off to college, A Diploma to gain And the voices of the Lost Stash? "Sibolettes" they became!
