It's a lovely afternoon here in the UK, Welcome!
I have a lovely Shawl to show you today kindly made by MarilynJG here in the UK. I will give you a Link for the Shawl it's over on RAVELRY.
Marilyn said over on RAVELRY that she used Mitered squares shawl, but if you search the patterns for mitered squares, loads of ideas pop up. They are very simple to do, but also addictive! Why not make a Shawl for SIBOL. Residents in the Homes are really enjoying wearing our Shawls and it's something different from 'Sunshine Blankets'. I love the colours in this one.
Let's take a look at some photos now. Of course decorated with our famous 'SIBOL' Butterflies!
MarilynJG also made up a bag of Knitted Squares for us which I received from Lovingly Made Knitting Group a while back.
The Squares are really lovely and I love your joining method MarilynJG. The Green really make the Squares stand out. Thank you very much indeed for your help.
The Blanket and Shawl are going to be given to a Care Home near to where joyce28 lives in East Grinstead. It's nice that our work is spreading further afield! Thank you joyce28 for the photos and also MarilynJG.
Thanks for visiting today.
