Thank you so much for popping in to see our latest SIBOL. I can't believe I am saying this, but this is our 99th Ta - Dah!. We have now made 99 'Sunshine Blankets' for the Elderly in the UK. This is getting so near now to our special day!
I would like to thank everyone that has contributed Squares for this Challenge. They seem to have come together so well!
'Knit Today' a magazine here in the UK, very kindly put two patterns in their magazine a short time ago, and suggested that their readers have a go at the patterns and send them to SIBOL. The patterns were part of their special Charity Supplement. My SIBOLETTES also had a go at the pattern.
I am very pleased to say that we have had a good response. I do know that more Squares have already arrived and some more are on their way, so please don't worry if yours are not in this Blanket. If anyone wants to have a go please mail me and I will send the pattern to you. Sue on sueatpigsty@talktalk.net We will be making a third one.
The page is over on the side bar to the right if anyone wants to have a look at it. Let's have a look at the Blanket now.
I'm over the moon with this Blanket. I didn't stipulate which colours to use on these Squares, I just left it to you. I'm sure you will agree they couldn't have worked out any better.,
Oh here's me.
On Monday morning I asked one of my 'Little Miss Twins' to help me with the photo and she kindly agreed.
I have now sent this photo up to Knit Today along with the Blanket that joyce28 made for our SIBOL Group.
joyce28 also used the Squares from the pattern in the magazine. The Editor loved both Blankets and Ladies I am hoping for some good news next month 'so watch this space!'.
Here's our Slide Show now. Our 99th 'Sunshine Blanket'.
Thanks to everyone that has kindly contributed Squares for this Blanket. It's really worked out so well.

MY NEW CHALLENGES.
Will be announced hopefully 1st December.
I know this sounds a long way off, but I have the 100th Blanket event,
Giveaway to do, Blankets to get ready for the Nursing Homes which means I have the Gift Cards to
print etc., Check the Blankets etc., and 'Deliver the Blankets' in November so I am going to be fairly
busy.
I have new Challenges in mind which I do hope you will enjoy taking part with but I have things to do this end too.
There is a lot to do behind the scenes and it all takes time.
With thanks to.....
