Our Faces Challenge is finished and a 'take a bag' arrives! (UPDATED).

I'm very happy to be showing you our 'Faces Blanket' today. This really was an interesting Challenge and once again we have had a great variety of Squares. Thank you so much to everyone that has contributed to this particular Challenge.

I am also very grateful to 'insearchofme' over on the MSE Knitting Forum. She kindly offered to 'take a bag' of 25 Squares for me and the finished Blanket is so beautiful. It really is a striking Blanket I absolutely love it. Thank you to everyone that has contributed Squares for this particular Blanket too! Another stunning Blanket for our Nursing Homes.

I particularly like the Butterflies attached to the corners, a great idea!

Thanks to everyone that has contributed Squares and indeed Blankets to 'SIBOL'.  All being well I am off to Sutton Coldfield on Friday to deliver 20 Blankets. Then I shall be going back out again towards the end of November with our final delivery of Blankets for the year.  I am terribly grateful to everyone that has supported 'SIBOL'.

UP-DATED LUNCHTIME.

I am extremely happy to be telling you that I have received 'Freeform Squares' from bonsall. These Squares will be sent to 'creativegranny' who will then make a wall hanging or cushion for our SIBOL Group. Everyone who took part will have the chance to win this beautiful item whatever it turns out to be!

Cynthia over in the States contacted me a few weeks ago because she was interested in taking part in our Owl Challenge. I did explain I had 25 Squares already, but I decided to make the Blanket in to a 30 Square one as she was so keen to take part.

Today her beautiful Owl Squares arrived just in time because I have now finished the 'Faces' Challenge and I will be starting the 'Owl Blanket' later today. These Squares are amazing, such wonderful designs I absolutely love them. I hope you like our Blanket when it's finished.

Thank you so much for sending these Cute Owls, and I'm sure they would like a little rest after flying across the pond Cynthia!!
