Squares from the Netherlands and Belgium!

Good Afternoon Everyone!

I have some gorgeous Squares to show you today!

First of all I would like to welcome 'Richtje' (RAV) to SIBOL.  It's lovely to have you join our group.
Richtje is very proud of herself because she has made her first Granny Square and she has decided to give it to SIBOL.  But.....it's not just one Square... She has sent me 25 Squares all in beautiful pastel colours enough to make a whole Blanket, they are absolutely gorgeous!  With the set of Squares she has also sent me a White Square for our 'Winter Wonderland' Challenge which is lovely.

I'm going to show you Richtjes' Squares in a Slide Show, but first of all just take a look at these beauties! She has made little Butterflies to decorate the Squares, I think they are so pretty! A very good idea.

Pretty Squares with cute Butterflies and Flowers!

Thank so much Richtje, I am so pleased you enjoyed making them. I'm sure everyone loves them, I know I do!

I also had some Squares come in from ATheeC on Flickr.  I've very pleased to be showing you these Squares.  ATheeC had some donated yarn given to her a while back, when she ordered some yarn from a shop  in the Netherlands.  She has put the yarn to very good use. I think that was extremely kind of them. Do you remember this yarn?

These are some of the Squares she made with them.

ATheeC (Belgium) Your Squares have arrived today! Thank You!

Aren't they pretty? Thanks so much ATheeC and here's your Slide Show! Enjoy!

Has anyone else been approached by CNN?  Today Kim mailed me and apparently CNN had asked her to upload the photo of her Royal Wedding Square to their web site! I told her SIBOL did this same thing last week. We were just wondering if anyone else had been contacted.

That's all for now. I do hope you enjoyed looking at the new Squares. Until next time, bye....
