Good Afternoon Everyone!
Welcome to 'SIBOL!'. I'm so pleased you are paying me a visit today because I want to show you some beautiful Squares which arrived today from Laura in the UK. Laura has very kindly sent me some Squares before and today I received two Squares for our 'Farmyard' Challenge. This Challenge along with the 'Spring' Challenge is running until the end of April, so if you want to have a go there is still a bit of time.
Laura sent me one of my favourite farmyard animals, clue.....oink!! oink!! Just look at Laura's cute Square!
Isn't it just so lovely? I'm glad we are going to have some pigs on our Farmyard Blanket. I've got about 500 here at 'Two Times!', I just love them!
The other Square she sent was a Farmyard tractor, just take a look at this one....
Well I'm sure you will agree they are superb Squares! I do hope you have enjoyed making them Laura thank you for sending them for our Challenge! I absolutely love both of them!
I'm very happy to know that you think the new Challenges are okay. It's always difficult knowing which Challenges to put up, and I'm grateful for emails telling me that they are good choices!. When deciding on Challenges, I have to take into account what I have in my Square stash, so that I don't have too many of
a certain colour.
-------------------------------------------
If you haven't had a look at them, would you like to pop over to our special SIBOL CHALLENGE web-site?
If you want to take part in the next Jan Eaton Challenge you will have to read the instructions on the Challenge web-site, because you have to pop over to Ravelry to register!
--------------------------------------------
Also over on Ravelry - Aishwarya (arien 156) is now signing up Ladies to take part in our 'SIBOL Square Swap'. So if you fancy swapping Squares with a partner in another part of the World this is for you! So please pop over.
---------------------------------------------
I'm also very grateful to Maytaurus over on the M.S.E. forum because today she mailed me and gave me a link for Ladies who want to try some different Squares out for SIBOL. If you follow the Link there are lots of 6" Square patterns on there. Some of you might already know of this web-site, but some may not. So this is for you. I'm very grateful to you Maytaurus, thank you!
----------------------------------------------
Thank you so much for your lovely comments over on Flickr and the web-sites on the last two Blankets. They are very much appreciated. I am still as excited making them now as I was the very first one! In fact I'm getting even more excited! I just love doing what I'm doing...... But I wouldn't be doing it if I hadn't got the wonderful support from you so thank you very much!
Don't forget to pop over to the Challenge web-site! Bye......
