So nice to be with you again on a sunny afternoon.
I've had three batches of Squares arrive today. They are 'all' so lovely. Our Challenges have certainly got you hooking again!
First of all may I say thank you to Steph (UK). Steph has sent in her Jan Eaton Square. This is Number 71 and it's called 'StarFlower'. A really pretty Square I think and Steph has put it together in gorgeous colours! I'm really glad you have taken part in our 3rd Jan Eaton Challenge!
If you view Steph's Slide Show now you will see the other two Squares she sent in for our 'Textured' Challenge. What wonderful ideas! Thank you so much for taking part in our Challenges, I'm very grateful for your Squares!
Next we have 'Big Blue' (RAV), who has very kindly sent in a Square for our Jan Eaton Challenge as well. This one is Number 53 and it's called 'Mesh Fantasy'. This one is made in beautiful colours also.
I'm so glad you enjoy doing these Jan Eaton Squares for SIBOL. It's so nice to see the different Squares come in and really interesting to see what colours you make them in! I hope we can get through the 200 Blocks!
Thanks so much 'Big Blue!'.
Thank you so much Chalky 75 for the bundles of Squares received today. It looks as though you really have had a nice time taking part in the various Challenges we have on at the moment. I can't wait to show you Chalky's Squares, but also she has very kindly sent me some pretty Flowers and Snowflakes. The Snowflakes are to be used with the 'Winter Wonderland' Blankets which we are doing later on in the year.
If you want to look at our Challenges please do! Such a wonderful variety of Squares Chalky thank you very much!
I have made you a Slide Show, sit back Chalky and enjoy looking at your Squares!
Before I go, I thought I would just tell you about an article I was reading today. The article is called 'How do knitters save the NHS millions!'........It's in the 'Yours' magazine issue 114 and it's talking about how in particular 'Loving Hands' Charity group is helping the NHS with knitted breasts and how Ladies in Knitting and Crocheting groups are busy producing creations for Hospitals, care homes etc., You may be interested.
Well a busy day here today, thank you all so much for the wonderful variety of Squares received today. I love them all, thank you 'Big Blue', Chalky 75, Steph, very much appreciated.
