Thanks for visiting 'SIBOL' today!
I have had quite a lot of Squares come in today for our Challenges once again. It's so nice to see what you come up with!
First of all I would like to say thank you to Kim for her beautiful Jan Eaton Square. Now this is Number 75 in the Jan Eaton book and it's called 'Half & Half'.
Have you got the Jan Eaton book '200 Crochet Blocks for Blankets, Throws and Afghans? We are trying to work through the book with each set of 25 Squares. We are on our third Blanket now so we are working on Block Numbers 51 to 75. This book can be obtained from virtually anywhere on the net. Shop around for the best offers!
I have two of the Jan Eaton Blankets upstairs already made up. I won't be giving these ones out until we have finished the book because I want to take some photos for my records when they are all completed! It's so much fun.
Here is Kim's Square, thank you very much Kim.
Well you know we have a 'Cupcake' Challenge going on? Well I have had two sets of Squares come in today with pictures of Cupcakes on. I'm going to show you first of all the 'Cupcake' Square I received from Stricksusi1. Stricksusi1 lives in Austria.
Isn't it lovely? I really love this Square. So...yummy and I love the colours!
Stricksusi1 also sent me other Squares for our Challenges. Jan Eaton Number 73 'Catherine Wheel' and a Square for the Flower Blanket. I have made you a Slide Show Stricksusi1, sit back and enjoy! It's my way of saying thank you!
Aren't they all lovely? Thank you so much for sending the Squares Stricksusi1!
The last set of Squares have come in from Corien (Netherlands).
Corien has particularly enjoyed our SIBOL Challenges and today she also sent me a Square for the Cupcake Challenge which is lovely too! Would you like to see?
The Cupcake Squares I have received today are beautiful! Why not have a go? Details are on our Challenge web site.
Corien has sent in a Square for the Jan Eaton Challenge, which is Number 65 'Patriotic Sunburst' and also a Square for 'Grow me a Garden' and one for the 'Textured' Challenge. Would you like to take a look at Coriens Slide Show? I'm sure you will enjoy these too!
I told you they were nice! Thanks so much Corien.
Kim, Corien, Stricksusi1 thank you so much for sending me in the Squares for our 'Sunshine Blankets'. We are working hard for the Elderly, but we are also having fun as a Crocheting and Knitting Group.
I have set up a new group on Flickr purely to show our Picture Squares. Why not pop over?
