A square for our 200th Blanket Challenge.
Good afternoon everyone and welcome to 'SIBOL'.
I have just showcased our 259th 'SIBOL', but to celebrate our 200th Blanket I invited Ladies to send me a square with my Grandmother in mind. So over on RAVERLY I wrote down some infomation about my Grandmother, what she liked doing, and what her favourite colours and flowers were etc.,
Well Liz here in the UK, took these ideas on board and today I have received a beautiful square. This is one of 'Priscilla Hewitt's designs and it is the 'Nosegay square'. She has made it in red to represent red roses, yellow for daffodils and blue for forget-me-nots, my Grandmothers' favourite flowers. What a brilliant idea. This is going to look lovely in our Blanket Liz, thank you very much.
I'm off to do a count now,
Thanks for stopping by.
