Ta - Dah! Introducing SIBOL 77! (A donated Blanket from Coxabey).

Good Afternoon everyone!

I hope you have had a good weekend.  Yesterday I was invited to St. Bernards Residential Care Home. If you remember a few weeks ago I distributed our 'Sunshine Blankets'  to them.  It was the day of their Summer Fete. I'm afraid I didn't take any photos but I had a great afternoon out.  I met Glynis there for the first time, her Mother resides at the home, she invited me along so that was lovely. I helped her out on the stall she was running and I said hello to some of the other residents who were familiar too.

It was nice to meet her and I have to say I came home with a bag of yarn she didn't need and also some Squares from a lady Glynis knows. I'm afraid I don't know her name but thank you anyway.

As I walked around the gardens I noticed some of our 'Sunshine Blankets' keeping the Residents warm, this made my day! Nice to know they are useful to them isn't it?

Name Unknown (UK) via. Glynis Thank you anyway!

I am occasionally asked if Ladies can make their own Blanket and donate to SIBOL, I always think this is so ....kind.  On Saturday I received a parcel from Coxabey (UK) over on RAV, and inside was a gorgeous Blue tone Blanket. I did show a glimpse the other day but now I have made the Butterflies I am ready to show you.

The Blanket is called 'Rhapsody in Blue'. If you want any more details about the Squares please follow this
link I'm sure you are longing to see it.

This Blanket was 'made' and 'donated' by a very kind Lady 'Coxabey' on RAV. I can't thank you enough it's superb! I'm sure you will agree.

Superb isn't it?  I love it to pieces and I can't get over your kindness Coxabey. Thank you so much.
I have made a Slide Show for you so sit back with a cup of coffee and have a look at your Blanket now.

Such a busy day here at SIBOL, I've been snapping away, please come again I have two more Ta - Dah's for you!
