Wow! I've had a very busy week so far with lots of lovely Squares and gorgeous Blankets to show you. I do hope you will pop back to previous posts so that you won't miss anything.
I have to thank Jean Nock (UK) because she has been helping me assemble one of the Blankets. I am very grateful to you Jean. I have had these Squares quite a while, and as you can imagine it does take me awhile to get down to them what with our Challenges going on. I'm sure you will agree that the Blanket has come out beautifully. I just love all the Squares in this Blanket and I would like to thank everyone for donating them. It's such a joy to work with each and every Square.
Here is SIBOL 79 and I really would like a name for this one please.
Isn't it lovely? Thanks so much to everyone.
I'm back with a later addition to this post now because I've had some Squares come in from Katia (France) and her Mother and also Joanna (UK).
I am always so very happy to welcome new SIBOLETTES to our Group. Katia is from France and she left a comment the other day saying she would like to take part in our Olympic Challenge. Well I am over the moon because today I received her Squares. So Welcome Katia!
Not only did I receive Katia's Squares I also received a Square from her Mother. Her Mother has Ukrainian roots and I am so pleased because she has made the Flag of Ukraine. I am so excited to receive some more Flags for our special 'Olympic Blanket'. If you are interested in making a Flag of your Country for our Olympic Blanket would you like to pop over to our Challenge blog.
I'm sure you would like to look at Katia's Squares..... Katia also sent a Square for our Farmyard Blanket and I have explained to her that this Challenge has finished but I will keep it for the future.
Let's look at the Flag of the Ukraine now and the others will be in Katia's Slide Show.
Gorgeous Squares Katia thank you, and also a big thank you to your Mother!
The next set of Squares have come in from Joanna in the UK. Joanna has sent some Squares for our Challenges, the Winter Wonderland one and the Two Tone Blue Challenge. The Squares are lovely Joanna thank you. You will also see some Squares made with variegated yarn which I think is superb! So pretty all in pastel colours, I could just imagine a Baby blanket in this one.
Thank you Joanna! I love your Squares.
Thanks so much for visiting SIBOL over the last few days. I have been so busy here with the Blankets and Squares but I have enjoyed every minute. I am so pleased you like the Blankets.
