Thanks for your wonderful comments yesterday on getting in to 'Let's Get Crafting!'. Click on the photos below 'Mr. Twins' has very kindly scanned the pages for me. (I must ask him to show me for 'next time!' ha.ha.!)
I'm really grateful to you all! It's so nice when we hit the magazines.
Well I've had 5 sets of Squares arrive today. We didn't have any yesterday so that's probably why, 'a back-log' at the Post Office. We've had Squares come in from bienzfive (USA), Pippa (UK), Jean Nock (UK), Rainbow Ribbon (RAV) (UK) and Mia Self (UK). Thank you so much!
Lets start with................Mia Self!
Mia has sent a beautiful Square for the Farm Yard Challenge. An Apple Tree, simply beautiful. Can you spot the little white Rabbits? Pretty flowers too, gorgeous thank you Mia Self!
Then we have bienzfive (USA). bienzfive has made some pretty Squares for our 'Spring Challenge'. They are gorgeous and....she sent me this adorable little Angel, isn't she lovely? Take a look at her and then view bienzfive's Slide Show. Thank you bienzfive, very very much!
Beautiful Squares from bienzfive!
I'm very happy to tell you that we have a new 'SIBOLETTE' today from the UK. I'm welcoming 'Rainbow Ribbon' (RAV) Katherine. Katherine I am so pleased you have made Squares for SIBOL. Your Squares are just lovely. I particularly like the colour combinations you have used and the yarn is just so nice. I'm pleased you are taking an interest in SIBOL. Thanks so much. I had fun taking photos of your Squares this morning.
I've made you a Slide Show sit back and enjoy!
Aren't they nice 'SIBOLETTES?' Thank you Rainbow Ribbon!
Next we have.........Jean Nock (UK). Thank you so much this morning for the gorgeous Squares. I love them all, but of course the Flower Squares are my absolute favourite! Do you remember I made 'Sweet Flowers' SIBOL No. 47 with some Squares that she sent before? If you want to see the 'Sunshine Blanket' I made with her Squares please scroll down the right side of the web-site. No. 47. Thank you so much.
Now your Slide Show....
I told you they were nice....Thank you once again for your help.
Pippa (UK) from the MSE Forum very often sends me Squares and today she has sent me these beauties! They are just so pretty and she wants to take part too in the 'Circle of Friends' Blanket. Would you like to see Pippas' Squares now?
It's my pleasure to make you a Slide Show Pippa, enjoy watching your Squares and thanks so much!
Well what a wonderful morning I've had taking photos of your beautiful Squares and making the Slide Shows for you! It's my pleasure, I enjoy doing it for you.
From the mail that I get it seems to me that everyone gets such a lot of inspiration from over on Flickr but most importantly our SIBOL web-site! The enjoyment of visiting SIBOL is that virtually every day there are new Squares to be seen. We get ideas from others which is really nice.

and of course now we are on Ravelry. I would like to get some new topics going on over there if anyone has new ideas. Aishwarya very kindly has loaded all the 'Sunshine Blankets' on to one of the pages, and every day she loads up new Squares arriving. She is visiting her Mother at the moment, but she will put the latest ones on when she gets back. Thank you Aishwarya.
Sign up and join our Ravelry Group over there or why not join Flickr if you haven't already.
OOh, I've just remembered to say.
Would anyone like to 'team blog' with us?
You can team blog about anything to do with SIBOL.
So you may just be telling us how you found SIBOL, or maybe you'd like to tell us how you started Crocheting. Perhaps you have made Squares for SIBOL and would like to take a photo your end before they leave you. You are most welcome to write about them and post a photo.
So write about anything to do with SIBOL only please.
On SIBOL - The Archive. Once again you can 'team blog' with us. Would you like to share that special pattern you used for SIBOL Squares? It would be nice to get some new Squares on the web-site over there and of course see what's already loaded on.
To 'team blog' with us you will need an invitation. So please email me sueatpigsty@talktalk.net
and I will send one to you.
Oh well, I'm finally off to my Mothers. Have a nice afternoon everyone and thank you all so much for the continued support!
So many beautiful squares - you must love it when the post arrives with so much crochet goodness being delivered. It's great to see the SIBOL message being written up in magazines - hopefully even more people get involved! I've been busy trying to get family and friends to do squares for SIBOL so hopefully there will be some coming from them soon too!
