Hello everyone!
I am very pleased to be showing you Jessica's Challenge squares today. She has made one Heart for our Challenge, and one Irish Rose. These really are pretty squares and I love the yarn that Jessica has made the flower square in. She has also been making the most adorable butterflies, I love them they are so pretty.
Why not pop over to her Blog and say hello! She has some beautiful hair slides, flower brooches and booties and she also has an Etsy shop too. Her Blog is really worth a visit. Pop over and say hello!
Let's take a look at her squares now.
Aren't these butterflies adorable? I love them. Thanks so much for the squares and butterflies Jessica.
I do like to help other Charities out as you know by linking you. I had a nice email congratulating us on our work yesterday and although 'animals' are not anything to do with the Elderly, if you enjoy knitting or crocheting and think you would like to help this new charity then please follow the link.
I will let you read my email and if you want to help then please do.
we are Marta and Rosa and we have start a new charity project called {entre agujas y patitas} (between needles and legs). The goal is to make blankets and warm clothing for the animals of animal welfare associations that have shelter, to help them spend less cold during the winter. This project is participatory, as people who want to can donate materials, fabrics for making square blankets, woven blankets full ... our blog is www.entreagujasypatitas.blospot.com (sorry!, everything is in spanish...).
When we discovered your charity project and the beautiful blankets we thougth we should contact you for connecting people that like to knit, crochet and use them for other living beings, animals and people.
We knit, crochet and sew, and receive donations from people we meet in the web and friends. We have actually a campaing for a animal protection organization in Guadalajara, one hour from Madrid, called "La Camada". They have almost 400 animals, dogs and cats, in two shelters. Guadalajara is quite cold in winter, so our blankets will be very welcome!
Thanks for visiting today everyone!
