Brightly coloured Squares on Saturday!

Hi Everyone!

I'm thanking Maytauras (UK) today. She belongs to the MSE Forum and she's very kindly sent me some Squares. They are gorgeous, so brightly coloured. Some will be lovely for the 'sun' theme Challenge and some for the 'Flower' Challenge. I just love them all. Can you spot the little hearts on some of the Squares?

Each one is just beautiful thank you Maytauras. I will put her Squares into the Slide Show on the side bar for you all to see.

Oh...La..La... There's that fun Orange again. Love all the new patterns you are getting. Have a great weekend. Off to make an ELIZABETH CAT bag. Just ordered a grab bag of 25 skeins. Can't wait to see the surprise that come this week.

One more thing....

You need to post to us the border that your using. It looks like three rows and then the fun fancy one. Or if you have already, let me know the reference posting.

to Elderly Residents in Care/Nursing Homes.

We no longer accept Squares but we do accept

your Crocheted and Knitted Blankets. We also

Donations of Sunshine Blankets/Shawls/Butterflies can be accepted between these dates.

1st March to 30th November 2016. Thank you.

I am often asked if there are 'collection points' around the country. Some Ladies find the cost of postage too expensive. There is a way round this. Why not make your Sunshine Blanket and donate it to your 'local' Care Home? If you want to contact me for a a pdf 'label' I will willingly send it to you. You can do this on behalf of our Group 'SIBOL' if that would help you. On the understanding that you would send me a photo of your blanket and the name of the Home where you have donated it to. I can then count this in to our totals.

Lists of Care Homes are available by contacting me.

This would be a great way of getting Sunshine Blankets to the Elderly in other parts of the country and not just 'Birmingham'.

The Lost Stash by Sally 'Chunky Hooker'.

Whilst rummaging in the scrap cupboard, I heard a plaintive cry " She never looks in our little bag, Can you tell me why? " A voice replied, "We're old and tatty, A little bit worn out, Our colours dull, our fibres matted, Now don't give me that pout!" "But I want to be a 'Sibolette', I really, really do! To be part of a Sibol, Made by the lovely Sue. It's my destiny, my dream, my fate!" The voice was getting higher, "I may be old but it's never too late, I'm not ready to retire". "Oh gosh", I thought, That sounds like me, Slightly worn, with a dodgy knee. So I'm off to college, A Diploma to gain And the voices of the Lost Stash? "Sibolettes" they became!
