Flowers & Blue & White

Hi everyone

I have just posted these off to Mrs Twins today. It would be interesting to see how long they take to get to her. I haven't heard anything more about ash clouds, so hopefully flights are per normal.

The squares are not fancy, I was a little short of time dealing with a wedding. But I just had to send something!!!! And there is always a use for the plainer things in life.

Mrs Twins, keep an eye out for a tiny little bag inside the bigger bag

I've just commented on Flickr wondering whether you'd hopefully post on here.
Do you know I love Granny Squares....
Its the most basic of crocheting, but colours can really make such a difference cant they? I'm a granny square person I'm afraid, not like a lot of Ladies on here and Flickr. The little flowers in the centre once again are just great.
Blue and white squares for our blue and white them. I cant thank you enough Maria.
I really appreciate your help.
OOh you've got me wondering now about the little bag...

I'm making 'Sunshine International Blankets of Love' For the Elderly'.
(see 28th Feb post) In Memory of my Grandmother, with the help of my on-line friends.
Would you like to help me?

I'm asking for 6" x 6" (15cms x 15cms) Knitted or Crocheted Squares.
Any Design, Any Colour, Straight Edge please.
Acrylic if possible (or whatever you have in your stash!)

All 'Sunshine Blankets' will be donated to Nursing Homes in the UK.

Whilst rummaging in the scrap cupboard, I heard a plaintive cry " She never looks in our little bag, Can you tell me why? " A voice replied, "We're old and tatty, A little bit worn out, Our colours dull, our fibres matted, Now don't give me that pout!" "But I want to be a 'Sibolette', I really, really do! To be part of a Sibol, Made by the lovely Sue. It's my destiny, my dream, my fate!" The voice was getting higher, "I may be old but it's never too late, I'm not ready to retire". "Oh gosh", I thought, That sounds like me, Slightly worn, with a dodgy knee. So I'm off to college, A Diploma to gain And the voices of the Lost Stash? "Sibolettes" they became!
