My Yarn Day (continued from Mrs Twins so you'll have to go there first!)

I'm back, Hi!
OOh, this is fun!

Anyway, as I was saying on Mrs Twins when we got back home from Stoke On Trent and Bakewell today I found something in the porch. I couldn't wait to get in the house because it was a parcel  from 'The Garden Bell' over in the USA! First of all I thought it was from bienzfive the writing was so much alike! But no, it was from Kate.

I went in the house and opened the package, what did I find?

Two balls of Yarn from Kate.  I do hope you will pop over to Kates' blog.  We have been together blogging all our 'blogging life' you might say.  We more or less started at the same time.  It was Kate who first of all started her blog and absolutely loved it and I carried on after her. Together we have been on a journey and aren't we just loving it!  Now Kate if you didn't know dyes her own Yarn out in her beautiful garden.  She makes a fantastic job too and has very kindly donated some Yarn which she dyed herself in the appropriate Challenge colours, Blue and White and some for the Flower Challenge.

Wasn't that really nice of her? The Yarn will be so useful to me and I just can't wait to see how it all works in with our Blankets. She also sent me a Flower Square which I am most grateful for and also two photographs of her work. I can't thank you enough Kate and I am so excited to be receiving these for SIBOL. The Square too is just great for our Flower Challenge. You aren't too late either as I have plenty of work still to do.

I've made a Slide Show for you Kate, sit back and enjoy and thank you so much!!

I do thank you all for visiting SIBOL today. My new friend in South Africa it's been a pleasure to be in contact with you today and all the other New Followers Welcome! We are having such fun on SIBOL, thank you for joining us.

I'm off to bed I've had a busy 'Yarn Day!' Once again, thank you Kate!

  1. With that big bag of yarn, my little balls look sillie now. But I know you will find a place for them with all your blankets. I had a wonderful time doing them. Seriously, I like to dye better than I like to hook.

Thanks for the special slide show. Made my day.
