New Squares

Hi Everybody!

I'm Laura and have been writing my blog Domestic Doris since January this year.

I've enjoyed knitting for a few years now (although still only learning!) but decided that I would like to learn crochet after seeing Lucy's blog and being inspired by the colours and patterns.  That was about 8 months ago and am really enjoying crochet and have just finished my first blanket, which I wanted to make for my 18 month old daughter.

Over time I have also discovered many others' blogs and have admired their crochet skills.  Having seen how generous and creative everybody in this wonderful blogging community was I wanted to make a contribution to Sue's SIBOL project, albeit a very small one!  I hope that as time goes on I'll be able to make some more squares to send, but for now I did a couple of extra ones whilst making my blanket:

Sue, I'll be popping these in the post to you tomorrow - I will email to confirm when they've gone.  Once again, I would like to say "WELL DONE!" to all who have contributed to this fabulous project so far - especially Sue whose hard work truly has been an inspiration to me and I'm sure to countless others.

Laura I'm sure everyone will agree your squares are just lovely. They are so pretty. I too have seen your blanket on your blog and I do hope followers of SIBOL will pop over to your blog.

I agree there are some really lovely people in our Crafting community. They are always very eager to share new patterns and ideas and that's the fun of SIBOL too. A lot of people check in every day to see what's new!.

Thank you so much for your contribution. I will let you know as soon as they arrive,
