It would be really nice to see this pattern put into a Square for the SIBOL'S.

Ooh, so lovely - I am inspired to abandon granny squares for a while and branch out - thanks for posting the diagram as I seem to be a visual learner. Patterns flummox me but if I can see it drawn out I'm good to go.

I live in the UK.

I'm making 'Sunshine International Blankets of Love' For the Elderly'.
(see 28th Feb post) In Memory of my Grandmother, with the help of my on-line friends.
Would you like to help me?

I'm asking for 6" x 6" (15cms x 15cms) Knitted or Crocheted Squares.
Any Design, Any Colour, Straight Edge please.
Acrylic if possible (or whatever you have in your stash!)
No deadline, no panic,no rush.

All 'Sunshine Blankets' will be donated to Nursing Homes in the UK.

The Lost Stash by Sally 'Chunky Hooker'.

Whilst rummaging in the scrap cupboard, I heard a plaintive cry " She never looks in our little bag, Can you tell me why? " A voice replied, "We're old and tatty, A little bit worn out, Our colours dull, our fibres matted, Now don't give me that pout!" "But I want to be a 'Sibolette', I really, really do! To be part of a Sibol, Made by the lovely Sue. It's my destiny, my dream, my fate!" The voice was getting higher, "I may be old but it's never too late, I'm not ready to retire". "Oh gosh", I thought, That sounds like me, Slightly worn, with a dodgy knee. So I'm off to college, A Diploma to gain And the voices of the Lost Stash? "Sibolettes" they became!

'SIBOL' is a Knitting and Crocheting Group for friends around the World. This is a place where we can share ideas about our 'Sunshine Blankets', perhaps exchange a pattern, share an idea, post a photo of a Square for one of the Blankets. The ideas are endless.
