I love flowers !

I love the idea of a flower blanket ! You just can't fail to make something lovely with all those flowery colours and patterns. Mrs Twins- I can't wait to see how it turns out.I have been busy making a few squares and I've just learned how to make a mosaic (thank you Kim) so I just made a flower mosaic to share with you...

I also posted them on flickr in the SIBOL group and in the general crochet group for good measure. I'm sure you can tell from all this activity that my hubbie is out and my children are watching tv in their pyjamas otherwise I'd never have been able to spend so long!

I'm so pleased you found out how to do the mosaic. I have made so many over the months and they are great fun!

Hurray .....hurray !!!! More flowers for more blankets.I'm back Mrs.Twins....relaxing after so much work at work.....The volcano has all my flights cancelled.....!!!! Hoping everything go back to normal.But I'm relaxing this weekend.Back to work Tuesday.Have a wonderful weekend.Blessings!!!

I'm making 'Sunshine International Blankets of Love' For the Elderly'.
(see 28th Feb post) In Memory of my Grandmother, with the help of my on-line friends.
Would you like to help me?

I'm asking for 6" x 6" (15cms x 15cms) Knitted or Crocheted Squares.
Any Design, Any Colour, Straight Edge please.
Acrylic if possible (or whatever you have in your stash!)

All 'Sunshine Blankets' will be donated to Nursing Homes in the UK.

Whilst rummaging in the scrap cupboard, I heard a plaintive cry " She never looks in our little bag, Can you tell me why? " A voice replied, "We're old and tatty, A little bit worn out, Our colours dull, our fibres matted, Now don't give me that pout!" "But I want to be a 'Sibolette', I really, really do! To be part of a Sibol, Made by the lovely Sue. It's my destiny, my dream, my fate!" The voice was getting higher, "I may be old but it's never too late, I'm not ready to retire". "Oh gosh", I thought, That sounds like me, Slightly worn, with a dodgy knee. So I'm off to college, A Diploma to gain And the voices of the Lost Stash? "Sibolettes" they became!
