Next challenge

Dear Sue!

You are doing wonderful work for the elderly. My compliments for this lovely initiative.

These virtual flowers are for you!

It's so much fun to participate in this project.
I'm surprised by the great amount of squares you receive, it must be overwhelming.
It's great to see how many squares you received with the Sunniest theme.
In the meantime I'm a bit confused about the next theme. I've seen lovely suggestions, but it's not clear which one it will be.....and I want to know.....

Dear, dear Sue, it's up to you...... can you tell us....please....???

Hi, I'm Sue
56, Married with twin Daughters.
I live in the UK.

I'm making 'Sunshine International Blankets of Love' For the Elderly'.
(see 28th Feb post) In Memory of my Grandmother, with the help of my on-line friends.
Would you like to help me?

I'm asking for 6" x 6" (15cms x 15cms) Knitted or Crocheted Squares.
Any Design, Any Colour, Straight Edge please.
Acrylic if possible (or whatever you have in your stash!)
No deadline, no panic,no rush.

All 'Sunshine Blankets' will be donated to Nursing Homes in the UK.

Whilst rummaging in the scrap cupboard, I heard a plaintive cry " She never looks in our little bag, Can you tell me why? " A voice replied, "We're old and tatty, A little bit worn out, Our colours dull, our fibres matted, Now don't give me that pout!" "But I want to be a 'Sibolette', I really, really do! To be part of a Sibol, Made by the lovely Sue. It's my destiny, my dream, my fate!" The voice was getting higher, "I may be old but it's never too late, I'm not ready to retire". "Oh gosh", I thought, That sounds like me, Slightly worn, with a dodgy knee. So I'm off to college, A Diploma to gain And the voices of the Lost Stash? "Sibolettes" they became!
